This makes for highly enjoyable, fast play that you just won’t find back home. Many guests also love the full range of amenities that these resorts offer, especially the luxury spas, perfect for recovery after playing 36 holes in that lovely 75-degree warmth. It’s an easy environment for continuous, high-volume play, letting you focus entirely on tuning up your game while enjoying pure, uninterrupted sunshine.

Where to Chase the Heat
If guaranteed warmth is the priority, a few places stand out during the December to March window. The Canary Islands (specifically Tenerife and Gran Canaria) are highly popular; they offer European accessibility with a reliable spring-like climate that’s perfect for golf. Across the pond, the resorts in Scottsdale, Arizona, and Palm Springs, California, are in their prime season. The mild desert sun and huge density of high-quality courses make an American winter getaway incredibly tempting. For the ultimate in luxury, the Arabian Gulf regions like Abu Dhabi provide stunning coastal and desert courses along with palatial hotels and service.
