Championship Golf on the Red Sea Coast

The Cascades Golf Resort, Spa & Thalasso, located in Soma Bay along Egypt‘s breathtaking Red Sea coastline, blends luxury with a demanding, championship-caliber golf course. The 18-hole course, which was designed by Gary Player, features expansive fairways, deep bunkers that require accuracy, and rolling desert landscape with vistas of the sea. A common element that increases the strategic difficulty is wind. Spacious rooms and suites with views of the sea or golf course are available at the resort’s Mediterranean-style hotel.

There are several pools, a private beach club, and a sizable thalasso spa with seawater treatments off the fairways. International buffets as well as a la carte Italian and seafood options are available for dining. The location is ideal for both serious golf and leisurely getaways.

Key Information

Course Design

At The Cascades Golf Resort, Spa & Thalasso, you’ll find a course that’s as rewarding as it is challenging. The fairways are lush and perfectly framed by the golden tones of the surrounding desert, while the greens roll true and quick. The Gary Player design demands smart shot placement, especially when the coastal winds pick up.

Away from the course, the resort is tranquil and elegant, with service always unobtrusive but never in any way rushed. The majority of players end their rounds with a sunset cocktail overlooking the Red Sea, basking in the tranquil opulence that defines Soma Bay.

60th Birthday Golf Trip

They did a fantastic job and secured us with tee times at three of the worlds best courses. The whole trip went very smoothly and even the weather was perfect. Hotel was great as well. Thanks again.

I am independent travel agent and they was able to book a golf trip for 20 clients and beat other quotes they received by £250 and an extra night than anticipated. They responded quickly and offered help and support where required. Thank you!
