The Coastal Haven of Southeastern Sicily

Mangia’s Costa Ragusa Borgo is part of the developing Costa Ragusa golf destination in southeastern Sicily, combining resort accommodation with two championship courses redesigned by major-winning golfers José María Olazábal and Miguel Ángel Jiménez.

The Queens Course, redesigned by Jiménez, is scheduled to open in 2027, followed by the Castle Course, redesigned by Olazábal, in 2028. Both 18-hole layouts are being developed around the natural Sicilian landscape, with strategic bunkering, varied terrain, and a mix of challenging and more forgiving holes planned.

Away from the fairways, the resort offers a relaxed setting for enjoying Sicily’s warm climate, local cuisine, and coastal surroundings. Accommodation at the Borgo provides a convenient base for golfers, with dining and leisure facilities forming part of the wider resort experience.

The location is another attraction. The historic city of Ragusa, known for its beautiful Baroque architecture, is within reach, while nearby beaches and traditional Sicilian towns offer plenty to explore between rounds.

With its combination of golf, culture, and Mediterranean hospitality, Costa Ragusa is shaping up to be an interesting addition to Italy’s golf travel scene.
