Golfing the Legendary Home of Golf

Experience one of the ultimate trips in golf with six nights at Fairmont St Andrews and five exceptional rounds across Scotland’s famous east coast. Take on the championship links of Dumbarnie, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns, experience the dramatic Castle Course at St Andrews, then finish with the round every golfer dreams of: the legendary Old Course.

What makes this tour even more special is the timing. You’ll tee off on the Old Course on April 30, 2027, just months before the world’s best return to St Andrews for The Open. With daily Scottish breakfast, clubhouse meals, golf transfers, group airport transfers and a dedicated St Andrews team included, everything is arranged so you can concentrate on experiencing some of Scotland’s greatest golf.

From the championship challenge of Carnoustie to the spectacular coastline at Kingsbarns and that unforgettable walk across the Swilcan Bridge, this is a bucket-list journey through the Home of Golf.

Itinerary

A perfectly paced journey through St Andrews and Scotland’s most legendary championship links.

Welcome to Scotland and the beginning of an unforgettable week of golf. On arrival, transfer to Fairmont St Andrews, your five-star base for the next six nights on the spectacular Fife coastline.

After checking in, the remainder of the day is yours to settle into the resort, explore the facilities or make the short journey into St Andrews. Enjoy your first evening in the town where the game has been played for centuries before the golf gets underway tomorrow.

Your first round takes you to Dumbarnie Links, one of the most exciting modern additions to Scotland’s collection of world-class links courses.

Set along the shores of the Firth of Forth, Dumbarnie combines generous fairways with strategic bunkering, elevation changes and spectacular coastal views. It’s an enjoyable introduction to Scottish links golf and the perfect way to begin a week that will take you through several generations of golf course design.

After your round, return to Fairmont St Andrews and enjoy the evening at your leisure.

Golf

Today you’ll experience one of the most formidable names in championship golf: Carnoustie Golf Links.

A regular host of The Open, Carnoustie is renowned for its demanding bunkering, burns and strategic layout. The closing stretch provides a particularly memorable test, including the famous Barry Burn, which has played a starring role in some of The Open’s most dramatic finishes.

After completing one of Scotland’s great championship challenges, return to St Andrews for the evening.

Golf

The spectacular Kingsbarns Golf Links awaits today. Despite being considerably younger than many of Scotland’s historic links, Kingsbarns has established itself as one of the country’s standout golf experiences.

The course follows the North Sea coastline, with rolling fairways, dramatic elevation changes and panoramic sea views accompanying much of the round. It’s a different challenge to Carnoustie and showcases the scenic side of Scottish links golf at its very best.

Return to Fairmont St Andrews following your round, with the rest of the evening free to enjoy.

Golf

It’s back to St Andrews for a round on the Castle Course, the newest of the seven courses at St Andrews Links.

Perched on cliffs overlooking St Andrews Bay, the Castle Course offers dramatic elevation changes, undulating greens and outstanding views back toward the historic St Andrews skyline. It’s a striking modern contrast to what awaits tomorrow and provides your final test before the centerpiece of the tour.

With the Old Course next on the itinerary, spend the evening soaking up the atmosphere of St Andrews ahead of a round you’ll never forget.

Golf

The highlight of the tour awaits with a round on the legendary Old Course at St Andrews, the most famous golf course in the world. Experience centuries of history as you navigate its iconic double greens, deep bunkers and unmistakable links layout.

Take on the famous Road Hole at 17 before making the unforgettable walk across the Swilcan Bridge and up the 18th fairway toward the R&A Clubhouse. Playing here in 2027 makes the experience even more special, with The Open returning to St Andrews later in the year.

Golf

Enjoy one final Scottish breakfast at Fairmont St Andrews before checking out after six nights on the Fife coast.

Your five-round journey has taken you from Scotland’s spectacular modern links to historic Open Championship venues, culminating in the ultimate round at the Old Course. Transfer to the airport for your journey home with one of golf’s greatest bucket-list experiences officially ticked off.
