Stay at We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort
We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort sits just outside Scottsdale and is home to two of Arizona’s most popular courses – Saguaro and Cholla. Designed to blend naturally with the desert landscape, they’re known for firm, fast fairways, panoramic views, and empty space around. It’s just you and the course, with the mountains in the distance.
The layouts are thoughtful but playable – Saguaro is walkable and links-style, while Cholla is slightly tougher with a dramatic finish. Smart play is rewarded on both courses, and novice players are not penalized. Off the course, the resort delivers a full package: clean, modern rooms, a solid mix of dining options (from quick bites to steakhouse dinners), and a full-service casino that stays lively after sunset.
It’s easy to get around, easy to relax, and easy to see why We-Ko-Pa is consistently rated among Arizona’s best golf destinations.

Key Information
At We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort, expect calm, unspoiled desert golf. The fairways cut through natural terrain, framed by saguaros and distant peaks. It’s quiet out here, no homes, no roads—just the sound of your swing and the occasional bird. Rounds move smoothly, the staff know their golfers, and the greens roll true. The resort keeps things simple, clean rooms, easy dining, and a pool that catches the late light just right. Whether you’re playing all day or mixing in a little casino time at night, everything’s close, convenient, and built for a relaxed pace.

Golf Highlights
People come to We-Ko-Pa for golf that feels wide open and genuine. The Saguaro course invites you to walk and think your way around, while Cholla offers a stronger test with bold desert carries and a memorable finish. Both are scenic without being showy, smart without feeling punishing. The lack of development around the property gives every round a peaceful rhythm. When the sun drops, there’s good food, a lively casino, and a comfortable room waiting nearby.
It’s the kind of place you’ll want to play again the moment you leave.
