A Historic Heart in the Granite City
The Aberdeen Douglas Hotel sits right in the heart of Aberdeen, making it a convenient base for golfers and travelers who want to be close to everything. You’re just a short walk from Union Square, the harbour, and a good mix of bars, restaurants, and shops, so evenings are easy without needing transport.
The hotel itself leans classic rather than modern, with a traditional feel throughout the building. Rooms are comfortable and well-sized, with a mix of standard rooms and larger suites if you want a bit more space. It’s not a luxury property, but it’s reliable, clean, and well run—ideal for short stays or golf trips where you’ll spend most of your time out exploring.
There’s an on-site restaurant and bar, which works well for a relaxed dinner or a drink after a day on the course. Service is friendly and straightforward, and the central location makes it easy to organise transport out to nearby links courses like Royal Aberdeen, Trump International, and Cruden Bay.
