Evermore is a different kind of Orlando golf trip. It sits on the grounds of the old Villas of Grand Cypress, and at its heart is Grand Cypress Golf, home to two very different Jack Nicklaus designs. The Cypress Course is classic Florida parkland golf, with wide fairways, water in play, and an island green par 3 on the 3rd that quickly becomes the hole everyone talks about. The Links Course is Nicklaus’s take on the Old Course at St Andrews, with double greens, stone walls, gorse mounds, and pot bunkers deep enough to swallow a player whole. Playing both in the same trip feels like two holidays in one.

Away from the course, the resort is built around an eight-acre crystal lagoon and twenty acres of white-sand beach, which is not something you expect to find this far inland. Accommodation ranges from four-bedroom flats to houses that sleep up to eleven, so groups and families can spread out and still eat, swim, and tee off together. It’s relaxed, it’s roomy, and it works just as well for a serious golf group as it does for families who want a base near the parks.
