Play The Lakes Course by P.B. Dye
The Lakes at Barceló, located in Punta Cana between palm trees and tropical lagoons, provides a lively and delightful round of golf. Designed by P.B. Dye, the 18-hole, par-72 course mixes wide fairways with more demanding risk-reward shots, while water hazards and varied hole layouts keep each round engaging.
Well-maintained conditions and the Caribbean setting add to the experience, making it a course that appeals to both relaxed players and those looking for a thoughtful challenge. Because it is part of a bigger resort, it is simple to combine time spent on the course with the many amenities that are close by.

Key Information
Playing The Lakes is as much about precision as it is about pure enjoyment. Each hole brings its own character, framed by tropical vegetation and shimmering lagoons that test your focus just as much as your swing. With P.B. Dye’s trademark bunkering and deft green contouring, the fairways are large but rarely forgiving, keeping you alert. The pace of play is relaxed, giving you time to take in the soft Caribbean breeze and the glint of sunlight off the water. Whether you’re chasing par or simply soaking up the view, every round feels refreshingly unhurried and deeply rewarding.
