Stay at Post Ranch Inn
Perched high above the Pacific on Big Sur’s rugged coastline, Post Ranch Inn is one of California’s most iconic luxury retreats. This adults-only property blends seamlessly into its dramatic natural surroundings, offering a peaceful, intimate escape. The architecture is organic and understated—think wood, glass, and stone—with every space designed to frame the ocean or mountain views.
Many of the rooms and suites include fireplaces, indoor or outdoor bath tubs, and terraces that appear to float over the cliffs, giving them a private and tranquil sense. The on-site restaurant, Sierra Mar, serves seasonal, locally inspired dishes with panoramic ocean views. Guests can unwind at the award-winning spa, take guided nature walks, stargaze, or simply enjoy the quiet. There are no TVs—just open skies, clean air, and a sense of total calm.

Key Infromation
Expect quiet luxury at its purest. Every detail at Post Ranch Inn feels designed to slow you down—the stillness, the soft ocean breeze, the sound of waves far below. The rooms feel like sanctuaries in the sky, each one warm and earthy, with firelit corners and terraces that open to endless blue.
Mornings start with light spilling across the Pacific, evenings with sunsets that stop conversation. Staff seem to appear just when you need them, never before. It’s secluded, deeply restorative, and impossible to forget.
