This is an easy, all-in-one golf break on the Riviera Maya, around 30 minutes south of Cancun Airport. The resort is large but well laid out, with low-rise buildings, tropical gardens and direct beach access, so it feels more relaxed than you might expect from the size. Golf is at the nearby Iberostar Playa Paraiso Golf Club, just a short shuttle from the hotel. The course winds through jungle-style terrain with mangroves, water hazards and plenty of bunkering. It’s not overly long, but accuracy matters, especially into well-protected greens. Wildlife sightings are common, which adds to the experience.

Rooms are modern and comfortable, with balconies or terraces, and the all-inclusive setup covers multiple buffet and à la carte restaurants, bars and snacks throughout the day. There are several pools, a spa, beach activities and evening entertainment, so non-golfers are well looked after too. It’s more about convenience and value than boutique luxury, but for a straightforward sun-and-golf trip, it works well.
