You’ll fit right in if you’re an amateur playing off a maximum handicap of 24 (men) or 30 (ladies), with an active and verifiable handicap index. The format is teams of two, so you’ll need a playing partner — a colleague, a client, a spouse, or a fellow club member — and the ¾ index allowance keeps the playing field fair across all abilities. Combined Stableford over 36 holes rewards steady, sensible golf from both players rather than a single hot round, so mid-handicappers have just as realistic a shot at qualifying for the World Final as low-single-figure players.
