London LINKS Value Golf Tour

Day 1

  • Arrive in England where you will be greeted by a GolfTours.com representative who will guide you to your chosen mode of transportation.

  • Overnight at The Bailey Hotel. Located in the heart of Kensington, the Bailey Hotel is a luxurious hotel with beautiful Victorian décor. With all of the local attractions of Kensington nearby, you will hardly ever find yourself bored.

Day 2

  • Play at Royal Liverpool. The second oldest seaside course in England, Royal Liverpool has hosted eleven Open Championships, and will host its 12th in 2014. The course is well-maintained and is flat with very few sizable dunes. That is a good thing for golfers as they will need to focus their attention on getting around the punishing rough and bunkering. Enjoy a round of golf that is a favorite among professional and amateurs alike.

  • Overnight at The Vincent Hotel

Day 3

  • Play at Royal Birkdale. Ranked as the number one course in Britain, Royal Birkdale is also considered to be the seventh best course in the world. It has hosted nine Opens, with the most recent being in 2008 where sustained winds blew some players out of contention. The course consists of flat-bottomed valleys situated between towering dunes and is widely-recognized for its fairness

  • Overnight at The Vincent Hotel

Day 4

  • Play at Royal Lytham. Although the course is shorter than many others, it is still challenging and has hosted the Open Championship ten times and the Ryder Cup twice. Despite its length, the course contains over 200 bunkers which makes for an interesting and enjoying game.

Day 5

  • Play at Formby. A course surrounded by pinewoods, your game is protected from the winds at Formby. Your fate will be in your own hands as you make your way through the strategic bunkering and the heather and rough that provide a challenging boundary.

Day 6

  • Play at Hillside. The Hillside course neighbors two others: Royal Birkdale and Southport and Ainsdale). Of the three adjoining courses, you will find the tallest sand dunes here. Two-time Open Champion, Greg Norman, believed that the courses back nine were “the best in Britain”. It may not be Royal Birkdale, but it certainly provides an exciting test of your golf skills all its own.

  • After round, depart for home
