  • Play at St Andrews Old Course. This is where golf was first played and it is, therefore, rightfully known as the Home of Golf. It has hosted the Open Championship more times than any other venue, and to this day provides even the best golfers with a test of their skills. It is course loved by many professional golfers and one that must be played.

  • Overnight at Fairmount St. Andrews.

Day 3

  • Play the Championship Course at Carnoustie. Known as “The Beast”, the Championship Course at Carnoustie has produced some historic British Opens champions. The course is comprised of many obstacles, along with winds that has proven to be a difficult test for professional golfers everywhere.

Day 4

  • Travel to Turnberry Resort. Voted one of the “Top 20 Europe Resort 2009” by Conde Nast Traveler, you will enjoy a nice relaxing stay at this resort that overlooks the Ayrshire Lands. When you’re not busy with golf, you can enjoy the many outdoor activities and restaurants that are just outside the resort.

  • Play the Old Course at Royal Troon. At the Old Course, you will spend you day golfing on a course that demands your most accurate shot. Not only are you contending with the many challenges provided by the deep rough, but the wind will also be a factor in your game.

  • Overnight at Turnberry Resort.

Day 5

  • Play the Portland Course at Royal Troon. The Portland Course is more sheltered than the Old Course, making it more forgiving than its brother course with a little protection from the winds. However, comprised of gorse and broom, you will still find the course challenging and enjoyable.

  • Overnight at Turnberry Resort.

Day 6

  • Play at Turnberry Ailsa. Consistently ranked amongst the top golf courses in Britain and ranked 17th in the world, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of Turnberry as you make your way through the course. Site of the “Duel in the Sun” between Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson, the course offers many challenges as you make your way along the ocean. Think carefully before each shot because the Ailsa offers very little respite. As other golfers have said after playing the course, it will be one you will not soon forget.

  • After round, depart for home.
