Australia Golf History

The Australia golf history is surprisingly long and varied, as the first course on the continent opened in the 1830s and the Australian Golf Club started operations in the 1880s. Since then the country has launched its own PGA Tour and produced several of the world’s top golfers, most notably “The Shark,” Greg Norman. The Shark’s stamp is all over Australian golf now, as he has designed many Australia golf courses and is also a major player in the country’s beef industry.
